SEEDS Bushland Restoration & Environmental Education was formed in 2004. Our key personnel having cumulative experience in the industry of over 200 years.  SEEDs has the capacity to service both small and large contracts and has developed previously accredited ISO systems that utilise mobile technology to do so effectively and efficiently.​ We also collect local provenance seeds specific to our job sites and have an indigenous nursery (Conservation Collective) to insure the highest quality plants for our revegetation services.

Our business objectives are to provide best practice bushland restoration services in the most cost effective and sustainable manner.  Our staffing philosophy is to retain and invest in our staff by providing good working conditions and wages; quality maintained tools and equipment, systems for managing OH&S issues as well as supporting and encouraging the further development of their expertise.​

Key Services

 Bushland Restoration Works – SEEDS primary business is the provision of a broad range of ecological restoration services
focuses on vegetation management of remnant and revegetation sites. ​Bushland restoration works, including all chemical and non-chemical weed control techniques, revegetation works, erosion control works and the implementation of  Management Plans. Majority of works are conducted in both retention and restoration of quality vegetation along with some rehabilitation works to compliment both of these.  Annual works plans can be provided for all sites including detailed scheduling of works to ensure the required outcomes are achieved for our sites. All works are mapped and reported on at the completion of programs detailing the outcomes achieved and future recommendations for sites.

Vegetation Management – Provision of programmed weed control works to insure survival of quality vegetation that addresses the on-going management requirements of native vegetation (trees, shrubs and ground cover) within the proposed site.

​Weed Control and Revegetation – Provision of weed control and revegetation services, including the development and implementation of annual works program.

Mapping, Works Plans and Recommendations –  Conducting mapping and data collection to provide well informed  recommendations and works plans.

Fuel Management –  Reduction of fuel loads as necessary to reduce risk of bushfire in support of land management objectives. 

Large scale woody weed control –  Appropriate and effective techniques used based on weed species, including cut/paint, frill/kill and hand pulling. 

Wood chipping and mulching –  Our chipper team are able to conduct onsite chipping and mulching services.

Programmed Maintenance – Scheduled monthly site visits with programmed works developed by SEEDS and annual reports supplied for all sites detailing the outcomes achieved areas treated and future recommendations.

Consulting & Management Plans – Production of vegetation management plans, including  vegetation quality mapping and works plan recommendations and costings. We can also assist with grant applications.

Education & Training Services – SEEDS education and training services are now delivered by our sister company Ecoskills Training.

SEEDS provides services to a variety of clients both public and private. We work primarily in the Mornington Peninsula region but service the southeastern region of Victoria.
